better just cut the hair off. Otherwise, you kind of have to scrape it off, like between your fingernails. Her fur will grow back.

stick some ice on it till it gets nice and hard, then you should be able to break it up with your nails….if she’s got long hair and its really in there, you may need to cut it out or just wait till it grows out. Just be glad she didn’t set the house on fire…..

it prbebly didnt hurt her and wouldnt do no harm but if you leave it on you would have distress brushing. i reckon the best you can do IS to cut it off. at the end of the day it will grow back.

if you cut – don’t cut it across – place your scissors blade against her head & cut forward through it.

For burns just in the wax and place it out of trash can your dog its ok and praise.

I would try warm water and a comb.

Would it be possible where the wax landed on her head that you may possibly apply ice without much discomfort to the dog ? Ice will harden the wax and can then be simpler to remove. Otherwise time will solve it as ancient fur falls off and new fur grows in.

The puppy as you can upset the wax from your puppys fur the top of the puppys head and the puppys fur the puppy.
